A Prayer for Ukraine
God of peace and justice,
we pray for the people of Ukraine today.
We pray for peace and the laying down of weapons.
We pray for all those who fear for tomorrow,
that your Spirit of comfort would draw
near to them.
We pray for those with power over
war and peace,
for wisdom, discernment and compassion
to guide their decisions.
Above all, we pray for all your precious children,
at risk and in fear,
that you would hold and protect them.
We pray in the name of Jesus,
the Prince of Peace.
FOOD BANK DONATIONS
Please bring donations of tinned, dried and packaged foods to the drop off box at the Parish Church to help the Shelter Trust food bank feed the most vulnerable of society in this time of need. Thank you.
Holy Trinity Church
is an Anglican Church in the Deanery of Jersey and the Diocese of Winchester, currently under the episcopal care of Bishop Trevor Willmott.
The Parish is set in the north of the beautiful Channel Island of Jersey. This rural parish, which once served a principally agricultural community is now also home to a much wider cross section of the Island community.
Of central ecclesiology, we look to value the rich traditions of the past, whilst engaging with the challenges and opportunities of the present.
Our hope is that people of all ages and backgrounds will find an inclusive and warm welcome in our midst and a place to be supported and to grow in faith.

Gracious God, may we treasure the past with thanksgiving, may we embrace the future with hope, may we journey through these difficult days with confidence in your love and in your power, now and always, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
